Just wanted to share some scenic photos from the Toksook area. A couple of Sundays ago it was beautiful and sunny, so I walked up to the top of the hill past the wnd turbines (where it WAS very windy, by the way!). The view down to the water was gorgeous!
This last is a small cemetary leading down to the water.
The other morning I had a stunning sunrise walking to work, and this morning the moon above the water was incredible. I just know these photos don't do it justice.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful home away from home you have! Your decorating skills shine and yes, as a devout HGTV home decorating junkie, I agree - they have nothing on you! The landscape photos are gorgeous. What an energizing environment to be in. I am glad you liked the little plane ride - I thought you would. I too miss having you around (and the rest of the HMS staff ) but it sounds like you (and I) made the right choice to venture out and try something new. Maybe I'll come visit with Trish! I am looking forward to stories of the kids and elders once school gets rolling. Take care.
